Forty-one years after he first appeared on The Billboard 200, Neil Diamond looks to be on course to earn his first No. 1 album ever on next week's Billboard chart as first-day sales of "Home Before Dark" (Columbia) lead the Nielsen SoundScan Building chart released May 7.

Yeah, Neil is playing the arena closest to me, and as I drove by there on my way home tonight, I wished I had a posse of ten wacky silly people who would get drunk, go see him live with me, and sing at the top of their lungs, lol. I'm weird like that!

I totally just ordered a roll of these Frank Sinatra stamps today (since we're going up another cent again anyway) and thought they were awesome.
