Unmasked Highwayman

I am back from my lightning-fast trip to Hollywood for the screening of Prometheus Truimphant from Mad Monkey Productions directed Jim Towns and Mike McKown. The screening went pretty well. It was the first time I had seen the film on the big screen. I was used to seeing it the size of a postcard on my monitor screen in my studio for so long. It looks great on a larger screen. There will be more screenings of the film in the near future in different parts of the U.S. so all of you must see it!

The screening was held at The Egyptian on Hollywood Blvd. It was the site of the premiere for a lot of silent movies like "The Gold Rush" .

Last night Jim sent me the rough trailer for "Red Sister Red". It looks awesome! I can't wait to place music down to it. It's going to be a unique process how I am going to record it (I am not saying how) .

Dang it's cold!

Yesterday I watched Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004) , which is perhaps my favorite of the Potter films due to the Gary Oldman being in it and the music score containing elements of jazz.

I finished reading the first book from  The Bartimaeus Trilogy . The ending was such a mash-up for an ending of the story that I liked it. Some authors build you up with a great story and when they end it you feel cheated (Stephen King for instance !)

I finally have come up with an new idea for the final track on the album. What I will attempt to do is include every step of the process for the production of it in this journal.
